Week of December 16th

The end of the semester is quickly approaching. We will not finish this unit, but any missing work/corrections are due by 3:45pm on Wednesday, December 18th so I can complete semester grades.
When we return in January I will do a review of what we learned this semester before we continue with the unit.

Monday: TWMM Problem 3.1
    HW: pg. 53 37 & 38 due Wednesday

Tuesday: TWMM Problem 3.2

Wednesday: TWMM Problem 3.2

Thursday: TWMM Problem 3.3

Friday: NO PLC. Half-day schedule in the morning. Assembly and activities in the afternoon.

Update for today

Students are struggling with the homework that is due today - pg.49 #14-19. We are working similar problems in class today and I have extended the due date for this assignment to Monday. The equation practice I am assigning today will still be due on Monday.

Week of December 9th

The kids are excited that there are only 10 school days left until break! This week we will have a quiz over Investigations 1&2. This will be our last quiz for the semester. We will not finish the unit before we end the semester. All missing work/corrections from this unit will be due by Wednesday, December 18th so that I can submit semester grades.

Monday: Problem 2.2
    HW: pg. 48 #8 & 49 #13 (on a worksheet) due Wednesday

Tuesday: Problem 2.5

Wednesday: Problem 2.5 and review for quiz
    HW: pg. 49 #14-19 due Friday

Thursday: Investigation 1 & 2 Quiz

Friday: Problem 3.1
   HW: Equation Practice due Monday

Week of December 2nd

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. I can't believe it is December and there are 3 weeks left in the semester! We are continuing with our book Thinking With Mathematical Models. Next week we will have a quiz over Investigations 1&2. I'm not sure what day that will be yet, I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Monday: Finish Problem 1.2 and start 1.3
    HW: pg. 23 21-28 choose 6 and show all work due Wednesday

Tuesday: Problem 1.3

Wednesday: Problem 2.1 (A&C only)
    HW: pg. 47 #6 & 7 due Friday

Thursday: Problem 2.2

Friday: Problem 2.5 (we are skipping 2.3 & 2.4)
    HW: Equation Practice due Monday
