We are finishing our book Say It With Symbols this week and taking the state assessments. It will be a busy week!

Week of April 21st

We slowed down in Investigation 3 last week and are just starting Investigation 4. This will be the last investigation of the unit and I am tentatively planning our unit test for May 2nd.

Week of April 14th

We are quickly working our way through Say It With Symbols. Tomorrow we will have a quiz over Investigations 2 & 3.

Week of April 7th

Our testing did not work out last week and has been postponed until April 29th and 30th. If this changes I will let you know. We are continuing our book Say It With Symbols this week.

Monday: SIWS Problem 3.1
    HW: Volume Practice (Kuta) due Wednesday - we went over these in class and the formulas are on their bellwork. If they forget to bring home the bellwork, I have told them it is okay to find the formulas online.

Tuesday: SIWS Problem 3.1/3.2

Wednesday: SIWS Problem 3.2
    HW: pg. 57 10-17 due Friday

Thursday: SIWS Problem 3.3

Friday: SIWS Problem 3.4
    HW: pg. 58 24-26 due Monday

Looking Ahead: The quiz over Investigations 2 & 3 will be Monday, April 14th.

Update to Week of March 31st

The state continues to have problems with the testing software and it looks like we will not take our state assessments on Thursday and Friday. Please keep in mind this may change again tomorrow, but I plan for us to continue working on Investigation 2 in our book.
Here are the changes:

Wednesday: SIWS Problem 2.2
    HW: Equation Practice DD-38 is now due Friday.

Thursday: Continue Problem 2.2

Friday: Volume Activity
    HW: pg. 39 #17-20 due Monday (this is added).
