Week of November 17th

We are continuing to work on our new book Thinking With Mathematical Models.


Monday: Review of area and perimeter
    HW: pg. 23 21-28 choose 6 due Wednesday


Tuesday: Wrap up Problem 1.1 and 1.2 start Problem 1.3


Wednesday: Problem 1.3
    HW: pg. 47 6&7 due Friday


Thursday: Problem 2.1


Friday: Problem 2.1/2.2
    HW: Equation Practice due Monday

Week of November 10th

We finished our unit Looking For Pythagoras last week and we will start a new unit, Thinking With Mathematical Models (TWMM), this week.


Monday: No school


Tuesday: Review concepts learned this year - Pythagorean Theorem, Linear Equations, Volume, and the Metric System. Students will rotate through stations practicing these concepts. 3rd hour will not meet today due to the Veteran's day assembly and panel.


Wednesday: Check out new books and return old books. Begin with problem 1.1 in TWMM
   HW: Equation Practice due Friday


Thursday: Continue problem 1.1/ start problem 1.2


Friday: Problem 1.2
    HW: TWMM pg. 20 # 9 due Monday

Week of November 3rd

We are finishing our unit, Looking For Pythagoras, this week and we will have our unit test Friday. All missing work and/or corrections are due by 3:45pm this Thursday, November 6th. The study guide will be handed out today.


Monday: Problem 3.4
    HW: Study guide - due for review (completed, except for questions) on Thursday. Completed copy due Friday at the beginning of the hour.


Tuesday: Problem 5.1


Wednesday: Problem 5.1


Thursday: Review Day


Friday: Unit Test
-no homework will be assigned this weekend
