I can't believe this is our last full week of school! The year has flown by! We will finish up Investigation 2 in our book, It's In the System, this week with a final quiz.
Friday's homework assignment is no longer due Monday. It will be due on Wednesday. Wednesday is the last day to turn in any missing work/corrections from this book.

Update for week of April 20th

On the last post I listed Friday's homework as TBD. I have determined that our unit test will be next Friday, May 1st, so I have assigned the study guide for today's homework. The study guide will be due at the beginning of the hour on May 1st. Our review days will be Wednesday, April 29th and Thursday, April 30th.
All missing work/corrections from this unit will be due by 3:45pm on Thursday, April 30th.

This week we will finish Investigation 3 and start Investigation 4. I introduced the quadratic formula last Friday and the students did really well!

We are taking state assessments this week. It is important to get enough sleep and eat a balanced breakfast each day. There will be no homework this week.
Next week we will begin Investigation 2 in our book, Say It with Symbols.

We have conferences this week: Tuesday 4-8pm and Thursday 9am-6pm (break from 1:05-1:50).
When we return from Spring Break we will begin State Assessment testing.

We are working in Investigation 4 of Growing, Growing, Growing and are nearly finished with this book. Our unit test will be next Thursday, February 26th. I will hand out a study guide this Wednesday. It needs to be completed, with questions ready, for class on Wednesday, February 25th. The completed copy is due at the beginning of the hour on test day.
