We are continuing skill practice this week

    Homework: 1.4.a1b (circles) due Friday
Thursday: Student determined skill practice
Friday: Student determined skill practice
    Homework: 1.4.a1a (equations) due Monday

I will notify students today that any missing work or corrections from Looking For Pythagoras will be due by Friday, March 2nd 3:45pm.
Please look at their grades with them to see if they have any work to complete.

Week of February 20th

We finished our book Looking For Pythagoras. Before starting a new book we will be reviewing 8th grade skills and test taking strategies.

Monday: No School
Tuesday: Pythagorean Theorem Practice
Wednesday: We will go over the Looking For Pythagoras Final Quiz and the formative assessment taken last week
    Homework: Tables, graphs, & Equations practice due Friday
Thursday: Continue looking at formative assessment - students will determine what skills still need practice
Friday: Circumference of a circle- We will start this next week - we are still working on order of operations
    Homework: 1.1.k5a Number Sense - Multiplying & Dividing with fractions due Monday

Wednesday: LFP Final Quiz - No notes or corrections will be allowed for this quiz. Please encourage your child to study for this quiz.
    Homework: Integer Worksheet AA-32 due Thursday
Thursday; KMA Formative Assessment
    Homework: Equations Worksheet DD-26 due Tuesday 2/21 (no school 2/20)
Friday: High School Visit and Fine Arts Fair - only 5th and 7th hour math classes will meet for approximately 25 minutes each. We will do Pythagorean Thm review.
